Leadership Thurston County (LTC) is honored to facilitate a program of community and career immersion for students in the Business & Community Leadership class, a summer session program at New Market Skills Center.
The students will complete a full LTC experience (14 days!) AND received a ½ CTE credit for program completion. Youth program days are a combination of professional skill development and the community immersion days that reflect our adult leadership program.

Launched in 2024, our pilot year for our Youth LTC program featured a partnership with New Market Skills Center where LTC facilitated a one-day community & career immersion experience designed to enhance the summer session curriculum of the career programs at NMSC. 11 days, 13 programs, 18 volunteer chaperones, 40 site visits, 50 sponsors.
