Program Format
In partnership with New Market Skills Center (NMSC), Leadership Thurston County (LTC) will facilitate a one-day community & career immersion experience designed to enhance the 15-day summer session curriculum.
Youth LTC days will include presentations, panels, & site visits that correlate with the specific NMSC career program they are engaged with. There will be no cost to the students for this day of enrichment.
There is no application or selection process for the youth participants as our LTC community & career immersion experience will be built into the NMSC summer session they choose to register & participate in.
June/July 2024 is our pilot year and we look forward to building a program that sustains into the future.
